Listed in my 1899 John Lewis Childs catalog as Golden Tom Thumb Popcorn where it stated "Its compact growth fits it for city or village lots." Very productive 2’ plants produce many small cobs that average 2-3" long. Produces delicious popcorn that pops very well. Small golden cobs can also be used for autumn decorations. Very early and productive. The best popcorn for short season areas! My favorite! (60 days)
