Originally from the UK, these rare heirloom beans were passed down to Mr. O’Driscoll by his father who had grown and preserved them for many years. These beans are tolerant of cooler weather and are early for a pole bean. The green pods can be eaten as snaps when young or the white with red streaked seed can be used when dry. Excellent flavor & texture as a dry bean!
