Originally found by Fred Tribe, a Perth-Andover, New Brunswick naturalist, growing on the banks of the Tobique River. He picked a ripe tomato and took it home and saved the seed. Tribe’s Tobique is a wonderful, productive, hardy tomato. The red 2” medium size tasty fruit are perfect for short season climates but it also did extremely well in the extreme heat and drought that we had this year in Manitoba. Great for fresh eating or canning. Determinate, regular leaf foliage. (60 days from transplant)
