(aka Preacher Bean) An old heirloom bean that is extremely productive and drought tolerant. The vigorous vines can reach 10 feet high and produce large amounts of slender green pods striped with purple. The pods are delicious when used young as snap beans and the dry beige and brown mottled seed can also be used in chili, soup or baked dishes. Rattlesnake Snap Bean pods can be used fresh, frozen or canned. (60 days for snaps)
