A very old variety that was named after the 20th President of the United States, James A. Garfield. Said to be one of the first named tomatoes, as opposed to just "love apple". President Garfield Tomato was first sold commercially in the United States in 1892. The 6-10 oz red fruit are very ribbed and ruffled with nice balanced flavor and are great for sauce or for slicing. Very productive! Indeterminate. (80 days from transplant) EXTREMELY RARE.
