A very old and rare heirloom tobacco that is thought to be the same as Tongue or OxTongue Tobacco of very old literature. One Sucker is so named because it sends up less “suckers” or flowering stocks than other varieties which was believed to be beneficial for tobacco production. The light green leaves are long and narrow and have a prominent rib. It is an all purpose air cured tobacco which was used for snuff, chewing, cigarettes and cigar blends.
