An ancient pre Columbian Aztec crop that is very nutritious and easy to grow! The leaves can be eaten like spinach, the buds have a flavor similar to broccoli and are best steamed, and the seed has a nuttier, sweeter flavor than Quinoa because the seed lacks the bitter saponins that Quinoa contains. The seed can also be ground into flour.
