(a.k.a. Egg Bean, All In One) Fisher Bean originated with the Algonquin Indians. It was preserved by the Fisher family for many years and is an excellent bean for baking or soups as it holds it shape well. The green pods can be used as snap beans when young. The light brown beans have a maroon circle around the hilum. There were many strains of this variety and the lighter yellow strains were called Canada Beans. EXTREMELY RARE.
