This Ukrainian heirloom comes from the small village of Hyrnik, Ukraine. One of my customers neighbors was visiting relatives in the village of Hyrnik and brought this heirloom back to Canada in the year 2000. The Ukrainian lady’s name was Romana so the tomato is named after her. The large elongated pear and heart shape tomatoes are dark red and make delicious tomato sauce. A true gem! Compact indeterminate, regular leaf foliage. (65 days from transplant)
