Introduced in 1924 as ‘Number 400’ and renamed Winsall as a result of a naming contest in 1925 by Peter Henderson. Winsall is a beautifully shaped flattened pink beefsteak with superb luscious flavor. The fruit are large and average 1lb and up. Indeterminate: regular leaf foliage. (85 days from transplant)
