An Italian family heirloom that was collected by J. Reif of Pennsylvania from an elderly Italian man. Reif Red Heart is a truly amazing heirloom tomato with meaty flesh and few seeds and wonderful taste. The large red fruit are heart shaped and the plants are very productive. Reif Red Heart can be used for slicing, canning or sauce. A great all purpose tomato! Indeterminate, regular leaf foliage. (80 days from transplant)
