One of my favorite heirloom tomatoes! I don’t know why it took me so long to try this variety-I wish I had tried it years ago! Cosmonaut Volkov is an old Ukrainian heirloom that was renamed in honour of a Russian cosmonaut who died coming back from a space mission. This heirloom tomato is the most productive variety that I have ever grown. It produced all summer long, right up till a killer frost. The medium to large size red fruit have a complex delicious tangy flavor that many gardeners search for. Highly recommended! Produced well even in cool conditions. Indeterminate, regular leaf foliage. (65-70 days from transplant)
