Introduced by the Oscar H. Will & Company in 1953. Hidatsa Soy Bean was originally developed from a Japanese edamame variety called Sousei which was collected near Hokkaido in 1929. Hidatsa is a nice edamame type soy bean which is very early and productive. (70-75 days)
