Heirloom Radishes are divided into two groups: Summer Radish and Winter Radish. Summer Radish should be planted as early as possible in the spring and Winter Radish should be planted in the summer. Radish come in all shapes and colors including yellow, purple, black, red and white. Yellow Carrot Rooted Radish is a rare heirloom that has long yellow roots that look similar to a carrot. Radishes should be thinned after planting to make sure that the roots have room to develop-if left too thick, Radishes will not produce large roots.
All of our heirloom radish seed varieties are natural, untreated, non hybrid, open pollinated, non GMO seeds. We have over 800 varieties of rare and endangered heirloom vegetable, flower, herb and grain seeds. Heritage Harvest Seed is a Canadian seed company with the largest selection of heirloom seeds in Canada.
