(aka Crystal White Wax) – One of the rarest heirloom beans in our collection! It has taken me many years to obtain this seed and I am very pleased to offer it to my customers. The pods are a very intriguing silvery green color, hence the name “Ice Bean”. Although the pods are small, they are produced in abundance and are truly delicious if steamed as they keep their unique color. The small white seed is also delicious and can be used as a shell bean or if left to fully dry as a dry bean. A chef’s delight! (60 days for snaps)
