A very old heirloom that is thought to be a distinct strain of Cherokee Purple. This variety was grown by Clyde Burson, who was in his 80’s, for as long as he could remember. Large fruit are purplish with green shoulders and occasional green striping. (The green striping is not present on most of the fruit produced.) One of the most delicious tomatoes that I have ever tasted a personal favorite! Compact indeterminate, regular leaf foliage. (75 days) RARE.
