An American heirloom beet that was once grown by Deacon Dan Burkholder who headed a Mennonite community in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the early 1800’s. This is a very large heirloom beet that retains its sweetness and texture in storage. The flesh is marbled with red and white and is one of the best keeping storage beets. The foliage is green and looks similar to the Lutz Green Leaf beet. EXTREMELY RARE.
50 seeds per packet.
